I have been painting with watercolor for some time and there is always a new skill to learn. This course does offer challenges! The presentation of the project is great as it includes the line drawing, finished painting and photo of the topic, all helpful.

Emily makes painting fun. The more I paint, the better I get. I would say I was in pre-school when I started painting with Emily and have graduated to kindergarten. It won’t be long until I will be a first grader. Her voice is so lovely and calming and she shows you how to draw, but if you can’t draw, she furnishes line drawings to be traced. Right after I joined her online classes, I had medical problems and missed a month of my membership, but it didn’t slow me down that much.
First of all you are so sweet, your voice is calm and encouraging and you have the best smile. I am new to Watercolor Mastery and I am currently going through the 30 days start here section. I have experimented a little with watercolor and I am also in another course so some of what you share is review and other areas you explain more in depth which clears up some of my wondering about how to make this beast of painting media manageable. I have learned a lot about water and paint control from you, I have heard the consistency information before, but I understood it more clearly with your instruction. I was told in a watercolor class at my local college that you can never have too much water. You have shown that is not true and how important the amt. of water is for control of the paint. This alone will help me immensely and will lessen my struggle to achieve the result I am aiming for. I ordered the Silver Black Velvet 7 must have round brushes that arrived yesterday and I can hardly wait to try them. The information you share is well presented and at a good pace. With your online course I can back up and listen to a portion again if needed to grasp the info. better. I have never heard of a Tertiary color or at least that term didn’t stick with me. My biggest suggestion so far for those considering your course is even if they have taken other watercolor courses before to sign up for your course. First you explain everything very well with examples and exercises to follow along, 2nd. it is very affordable, 3rd they can increase their knowledge and skills from each instructor.
