You simply print out my sketch and trace it onto your watercolor paper. (I show you every step of the process inside the “Getting Started” module)

Just use what you have available and try to use colors that are close. I recommend following the “30 Days to Watercolor” tutorial to help you understand your paint colors.

Just picked up an interest in watercolor, I did not know where to start. Found the site on FB and did a couple the free lessons. The instructions were clear and simple. Joined the basic watercolor membership and the first week gave me so much information how to get started.
After watching lots & lots of you tube videos, I was blessed to find your channel Emily!
I’ve been drawing or painting since I was a boy. Never really had any real lessons, just thought I could do it alone.
I actually had a non profit art program for 9 years. All the artists were special needs folks, some young some old.
It’s a long story, but over a period of 9 years, my program grew from one person to 7 or 8 thousand students. Many were repeaters, but the class sizes grew and grew.
That was super & I loved every minute of it. However, my class efforts limited my time to grow my own skills.

I’m relearning patience & persistence. I’m now following your advice of sitting at my desk for an hour or more reviewing our lesson for the day & putting brush & paint to paper
