I am 71 and have no artistic talent, but I decided to try watercolor painting last year. I started by mostly watching YouTube watercolor videos for beginners and acquired a basic understanding of watercolors, although, I was getting tired of flowers and landscapes. I just started to get back into water coloring and was lost at all the new supplies and techniques. I did a few floral lessons and love it and then found Emily’s watercolor mastery classes. I jumped in with both feet and I LOVE every bit of it. You know you found something you love when you would rather be water coloring than working. 🙂
She has it all, long detailed sessions of a variety of subjects, pets are my favorite, but she also does these daily challenges. Each day you get a 15-30 min tutorial on how to paint the subject of that day. The goal is practice, and each day you either learn a new technique or you keep practicing your skills. It’s so much fun to do and then you can post your finished product on her Facebook page for others to see. The FB group is very kind and encouraging. If you ask for help they will provide you guidance on things to try. I have learned so much in the short time I have been here. I am so glad I found her lessons. You will not be disappointed, I say it’s a definite must join!
